Wren Pubs sells site in London’s Hammersmith to James Blunt

Wren Pubs, the independent London hospitality group founded by Jack Greenall, has sold The Carpenter’s Arms in Hammersmith. Acquired by Wren Pubs in July 2024, The Carpenter’s Arms near St Peter’s Square underwent a refurbishment that saw an upgrade to the bar area, private dining room on the first floor – as well as the private garden – and saw sales double over the past two years. The sale is to owner of the independent pub The Fox and Pheasant in Chelsea – singer-song writer James Blunt – while Toby Milne will be responsible for operations.  Greenall said: “The sale was a difficult decision for us, but we are so pleased with what we have achieved to date. Having worked hard to bring this beloved venue back to life, it felt like the perfect moment to pass the pub into new ownership.”
