AG&G Successfully Completes Sale of Abbey Moor Golf Club in Surrey

AG&G are pleased to announce the successful sale of the freehold interest in Abbey Moor Golf Club having acted as sole selling agent on behalf of Surrey County Council.

The property is strategically located just inside the M25, near Junction 6 (Chertsey) occupying c.50 acres.  Its excellent accessibility, combined with long-term leisure and development potential, generated strong investor interest.  A four-week marketing campaign resulted in 36 offers from a wide range of prospective purchasers.

The price achieved was 30% above the guide, reflecting a net initial yield of 4.4%.  This outcome underscores the continued strength of demand for well-located leisure investments and demonstrates the effectiveness of AG&G’s targeted marketing strategy.
