AG&G secures Giggling Squid a reduction in rent

AG&G is delighted to have recently acted for Giggling Squid at lease renewal and have completed a new lease at a rent of £45,000 per annum. The previous agreed rent was £70,000 per annum. Anthony Alder comments the reduction in rent from £70,000 per annum to £45,000 per annum reflected of Covid-19 (being a 35% discount in rental value) is being seen elsewhere and is testimony to the difficulties facing many operators in this new climate.
