Sweet success for Market Place deal

AG&G, the leading property advisory firm, has aided Sweet Chick, the US fried chicken and waffle concept backed by rapper Nas, in securing its debut UK location.

Acting on behalf of Carluccio’s, AG&G sold the leasehold interest of the restaurant group’s site in Market Place, in London’s Fitzrovia.

Sweet Chick, which has four sites in New York and one in LA, serves American comfort food, such as biscuits and cornbread, as well as short rib, catfish, and braised octopus. It is known for its hip-hop soundtrack and A-list rap clientele, as well as a strong emphasis on cocktails, with Seymour cutting his teeth as a barman in Manhattan.
