AG&G supports industry charity Only A Pavement Way

Leadinproperty advisory firm AG&G is supporting the work of industry charity Only A Pavement Away.

The charity, which was launched by representatives from the hospitality industry and led by Greg Mangham, acts as a conduit to help those people struggling to get into work overcome hurdles by finding jobs within the hospitality, pub and restaurant industry.

Its initial focus was on helping the homeless and those sleeping rough including those having to “sofa hop”, but has since expanded its purpose to also now work with ex-service personnel, ex-offenders and those with learning difficulties.

The charity’s aim is to act as a conduit to employment whilst negating the need for people to face an existence of living on the streets.

AG&G is supporting the charity by promoting it to its clients across the hospitality sector, and through links and prompts on its external messaging, including a link on its email signatures.

AG&G director Michael Penfold said: “Just like Only A Pavement Away, we believe that everyone deserves an opportunity and a chance to forge a career. Our industry is an exciting one built on people, and Greg and the team at Only A Pavement Away makes sure everyone can be part of this great sector, no matter what their background or circumstances. We are proud to be helping in a small way to spread the charity’s message and highlight its amazing work.”

Mangham said: “The involvement by Michael and the team from AG&G given to Only A Pavement Away (OAPA) has been fantastic both in terms of support and advice and helped OAPA move forward.”
