AG&G helps new concept steak a place in Guildford

Leading property advisory firm AG&G has helped new concept Carmona Tapas & Grill secure its second restaurant, in Guildford, Surrey.

Husband and wife Christian and Linda Barrionuevo, who founded steakhouse chain Buenos Aires, have opened a second site for their fledgling concept, after securing the former CAU in Guildford High Street.

They opened the debut Carmona restaurant in Reigate in October 2018.

Buenos Aires Restaurants Holdings – set up by former Gourmet Holdings chief executive Gareth Lloyd-Jones and former Wagamama chief executive and current Pho chairman Steven Hill – acquired the Barrionuevo’s six-strong Buenos Aires steakhouse chain as part of a management buy-in at the end of 2015.

AG&G acted on behalf of the vendor on the Guildford deal.
