Romford pub attracts strong interest

Acting on behalf national pub group, the Ei Group, AG&G sold the freehold of the Slaters Arms to a private buyer.

Located less than 1km from Romford Town Centre and Railway Station, which will provide access to Crossrail Services shortly, the property generated strong interest with with 10 unconditional offers received, most of which were over £1 million.

The property, which has a total site area of just under 1/3 of an acre, was subsequently sold off a guide price of offers in excess of £1 million.

The new owner plans to seek planning permission for a mixed-use scheme.
