Private investor secures Antic site

Acting for a private investor, and after fighting off strong competition, AG&G assisted in the acquisition of the Earl Craig in Crouch End, North London, from Antic London, for a sum exceeding the £1.3m asking price.

The brick-built detached, single-storey property was previously built for use as a British Legion social club, therefore it has a sui generis planning use.

The property is set over ground and first floor under pitched tile roof. There is a storage facility to the rear of the property and enclosed beer garden to side providing space for circa 55 covers.

The buyer has subsequently instructed AG&G to re-let the property.

AG&G are chartered surveyors specialising in the licensed leisure industry, with the skill and experience needed to value, assess or promote a property not simply as bricks and mortar but as a business. If it involves the price of a licensed premises, its profitability, rental value, investment prospects or value in a dispute, AG&G can help.
