Mojo’s marketing works like magic

Mojo’s in Woking didn’t need hoodoo magic to cast its spell over a potential buyer – just the marketing skills of licensed leisure specialists AG&G.

The agency has recently completed the sale of the freehold of the Goldsworth Road property to an investor who plans to operate it as a bar and nightclub.

“It’s a versatile space in a strong location close to the shops and Woking’s main railway station, so it attracted a lot of attention,” says AG&G’s James Grimes.

Mojo’s is a 20th century, detached, brick property in the centre of Woking, around 400 metres from the railway station. It is surrounded by residential accommodation, offices and restaurants and is just a short walk from the main shopping centre.

The ground floor is set out as an open plan trading area, with bar, timber flooring, seating and a small stage to the rear. The ceiling height is around 3.5 metres (11 foot 6 inches). The first floor features a trade kitchen, customer WCs and a beer store, while the top floor comprises four-bed residential accommodation.

The property has a total internal floor area around 441 square metres (4,744 square feet).
